What a county page shows

  • How many crossings had a change in the federal inventory each week, by kind of change.
  • How many crossings are in a quiet zone, where trains do not sound the horn as a rule.
  • The state's rules on trains blocking crossings, and the reports filed with the FRA each year.
  • Links to federal grants and a grant table for the county.
  • About how many trains a day pass near the middle of the county, with code to show that number on your website.

You can follow the town in the county with the most public crossings, or add the county's weekly changes to a news reader.
