Accessibility statement

Our accessibility target, the status of the review and how to report a barrier.

Updated 7 October 2026

  • Our target
  • Known gaps and review status
  • Other ways to find information
  • Report a barrier

Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The current review is pending, so this statement does not claim that every part of the atlas meets that target.

Our target

Tan Solutions aims to make Rail Crossing Atlas usable with a keyboard, assistive technology and different screen sizes. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.2, Level AA.

Known gaps and review status

The accessibility review for this release is not complete. The list below records areas awaiting findings, not confirmed compliance. We will add verified barriers, available workarounds and review dates when the findings are available.

  • Map navigation and crossing selection are awaiting review.
  • Charts, data tables and explorer filters are awaiting review.
  • Sign-in, saved reviews and generated documents are awaiting review.
  • Keyboard focus, zoom, contrast and screen-reader journeys across public pages are awaiting review.

Other ways to find information

The crossing directory provides a route to individual crossing pages without starting with the map. The help center explains the main tasks and links to original sources. These alternatives are also part of the pending accessibility review.

Report a barrier

Contact Tan Solutions if something prevents you from using the atlas. Include the page address, what you tried to do and what happened. If useful, tell us your browser and assistive technology. You do not need to share medical information.

Tell us what format or alternative would help you access the information. We will review the issue and discuss available help through the same contact path.
